Detroit is on the rise. Of course, everybody is aware of the challenges Detroit has been facing, but decades of deterioration are a matter of the past. During our trip we’ll show the best of Detroit and you will see the Motor City in all its glory with the stunning Renaissance Centre Towers on the waterfront and views of the Windsor on the other shore of the Detroit River, Skyscrapers of the nineteen and twentieth centuries, grandeur buildings of art deco, Beaux-Arts and other architectural styles, Fox Theater with more than a 5000 seats capacity, sports arenas in the downtown, a dazzling lobby of the “Cathedral of Finance”. Hundreds millions of dollars are invested in renovation of some structures, a lot has been done and much more will be done. Stupendous monuments, statues and public art installations are full of deep meaning and reflect the history of the Motor City. Musical festivals on Hart square attract huge crowds of youth; beer bicycles are barraging the downtown.

The Detroit Institute of Arts contains 100 galleries of art from around the world, including works of Diego Rivera, Pablo Picasso, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Claude Monet, Odilon Redon, Eugène Boudin, Edgar Degas, Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt van Rijn, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Paul Cézanne, Eugène Delacroix, Auguste Rodin, Wassily Kandinsky and other prominent artists.

According to Lonely Planet, in 2017, Detroit was named second best city for 2018 travel destinations in the USA.
