Toronto's PATH-Underground City

Duration: 2.5 hours
1-5 people $200
We invite you to join a walking tour of Toronto’s PATH. The letters “PATH” don’t actually stand for anything, although the word itself means a route or trail in English. There are also playful interpretations, such as “Pretty (much) All The Hallways.”
Often called Toronto’s underground city, PATH is in fact a vast network of underground passages, above-ground walkways, glass galleries, and even elevated public spaces. Fully climate-controlled, it offers a comfortable environment year-round, occasionally opening into vast and striking interiors.
The network connects more than 70 buildings in downtown Toronto and, according to the city, is the largest underground shopping complex in the world (although Montreal might disagree). Its entrances are often hidden in plain sight, yet many office towers, hotels, and cultural spaces are accessible—especially on weekdays.
Along the route, you’ll encounter food courts, shops, and services, as well as artworks and installations worth hundreds of thousands—and even millions—of dollars.
You will also visit Toronto’s only “High Park” within the PATH system, step into spaces you would likely never enter on your own, and see familiar places from a completely new perspective.
This tour reveals Toronto’s hidden beauty, showcases remarkable contemporary art, and offers a unique journey through Canada’s most famous underground network.
