Service Description

Goderich has been called “the prettiest town in Canada,” and, as many believe, rightfully so. It has stunning beaches, historic buildings in perfect shape and an endless amount of beauty to see. Ontario has many towns that call back to European architecture and culture and the perfect example is Goderich, nestled on the eastern shore of Lake Huron. Founded in 1827, the town predates Canadian Confederation. Its European history is visible across the area, highly visible in architectural style. The official website of the Town of Goderich proudly claims that it combines small town charm with world class amenities. The unique layout of Goderich's core encompasses eight primary streets radiating from an octagon bounded by eight business blocks. This octagon, marketplace or civic square, with a park at its centre, is popularly known as the "The Square". During our tour we will explore Goderich downtown, visit the local museum and art gallery. We will also explore local landmarks and enjoy the great views of Lake Huron. Our tour includes wine tasting in the oldest winery of Huron County. 8:00 am Dufferin & Major MacKenzie, Yummy Market Plaza 8:15 am Bathurst & Centre, Promenade Mall Plaza, LCBO parking Lot 8:25 am Steeles & Bathurst Metro Plaza, next to TD Bank 8:40 am Sheppard West Station 416-722-9043
